Bill with his son Colton who is holding his first ever steelhead taken with a fly rod on a leech pattern.
Steelhead are present throughout the river system but the unseasonably warm past few days have kept these fish scattered. Cooler temps in the forecast next week along with more rain is what’s needed to drive more steelhead to the upper stretches of the river.
The table is being set for an outstanding late November through December fall steelhead run.
