Muskegon River Trout Fishing (8/10/13)

These cooler weather patterns continue to create some excellent trout fishing.  Cinnamon and green caddis patterns remain our top producers, both floated on the surface and swung with a dead drift.  Look for the caddis hatch and trout fishing in general to improve as we get closer to September and water temps begin to cool.… Continue Reading

Muskegon River Trout Fishing (7/27/13)

With this cool weather pattern past few days, the caddis hatch is coming back alive.  Had a great outing last night by keying fast oxygenated water around rock points.  Many trout hooked including these three hogs!  Great evening of trout fishing on the Muskegon river in Michigan! Trout Fishing, Muskegon River in Michigan (6/2/13)

The gray drake spinner fall has been on fire the past few days.  With lower water levels around 3200 cfs and the improved water clarity has made way for some excellent dry fly trout fishing on the Muskegon river.  Here’s a few of several from today.  Unfortunately, we lost a couple huge fish at the… Continue Reading

Muskegon River Trout Fishing (5/18/13)

Trout fishing on the Muskegon river is heating up!  Dries and streamers are producing well in select spots and it’s only going to get better as the temps warm up.  Stalking rising trout is the name of the game  for us right now.  This is your best opportunity of the year to catch monster browns and… Continue Reading
