Here’s Beverly with a nice Muskegon river rainbow taken on a wet fly.
The gray drake hatch is in full effect on the Muskegon river right now. Several different fly hatches are available throughout the river system with the gray drakes taking center stage in both the mornings and evenings. Dry fly fishing for trout has been really good the past couple weeks. Water levels are perfect for this time of year holding around 2000 cfs with water temps climbing into the mid 60’s.
