Here’s a crystal chrome steelhead form the Muskegon river
Had several bright chrome steelhead mixed with some winter holdovers today. Water levels are great hovering around the 2 to 3000 cfs mark with water temps around 35 degrees. Water clarity has a slight stain making way for more steelhead to migrate up the river system.
These unseasonably warm February days has made for some excellent winter steelhead fishing. Steelhead numbers are decent right now. Look for the warmer weather in the next two weeks to bring more steelhead up stream, as the spring run grows closer and the water temps start to rise.
Check out the incredible translucent blue stripe through the flank of this bright chrome steelhead
