Day two of a final day that will only go down as “something special.” Whether it’s Bob’s 18lb double stripe crimson red buck or Amy’s 14lb (so fat I cant hold it) hen. These past two days were simply one of the best steelhead experiences I’ve witnessed in a long time. Bob and Amy with some epic steelhead battles, both the ones we landed and the ones we lost.
Water levels remain strong. Steelhead are positioned throughout the river system.
Midge and stone flies are starting to create surface activity with the trout. Peak May fishing dates are available as the steelhead and large size trout on dry flies will be the main focus as we transition into late spring / May.
