Here’s John from Indiana with some great opportunities at some awesome king salmon on the Muskegon river. This was one of them, well earned!
Water levels are normal for this time of year. Rain and overcast skies any time soon would be a bonus. The high bright sun mixed with warm water temperatures didn’t help the cause much today. Colder weather in the immediate future will help bring the water temps down to that needed 60 degree point.
Steelhead and large size brown trout are feeding in and around salmon spawning areas. As the water temps drop, more steelhead will enter the river system.
