Here’s Bert from Rodney Michigan with a beautiful 20″ fall river brown trout from the Muskegon River that absolutely smashed a leach pattern.
We’re already starting to see the positive results of the DNR’s new 15″ regulation for all river browns on the Muskegon. The new change from 10″ is really having a positive effect on the quantity and quality of brown trout in the Muskegon River.
Water levels are high holding around 4600 cfs from all the recent rain to the north. These high water levels are setting the stage for the perfect fall steelhead run as we get closer to November.
