Here’s my great friend from Northern Michigan John with an awesome twisted chrome steelhead from the Muskegon river! Congrats John on such a nice steelhead!
Not to be outdone, here’s my other great friend and John’s guest from Chicago, Dave with a hard fighting winter hold over buck from the Muskegon river. Great job Dave!
Here’s John with a 15+ Inch “super skipper” (juvenile steelhead over 15-Inches). This super skipper absolutely smashed John’s fly on the swing!
Here’s John with a beautiful native Muskegon river rainbow trout that again smashed his fly on the swing.
And last but not least with several hook-ups throughout the day is Dave with a Muskegon river steelhead so chrome you have to wear sunglasses just to look at it! Awesome steelhead Dave!
Well, we got the push of water needed to kick the spring steelhead run into full gear on the Muskegon river. The cold water temps could prolong the spring steelhead run well into May.
