Here’s Andrew from the Fayetteville, Arkansas who spends his free time trout fishing the famed White River in Arkansas. Visiting family and friends in Michigan he took a break to try some winter steelhead fishing for the first time choosing the Muskegon river.
Try he did as you see Andrew posing with this beautiful crystal chrome steelhead tipping the boga grips at 17lbs and measuring a very healthy 32 inches. Andrews first ever big game steelhead pictured here fought like crazy, finally bringing this strong girl to the boat after a few repeated attempts with the net. Congrats Andrew! Great first time steelhead!
Winter steelhead fishing conditions are ideal right now with a fresh push of water bringing with it new steelhead up the river system as shown with Andrews chrome hen pictured above.
