Felt great to find my way back to the river to get some casts in before picking clients up even if it was just for a few minutes. Even better to land this chromed out buck in what little time I had the opportunity to fish!
More fall steelhead continue to enter the river system. Water levels are good but temps are above average for this time of year. Next weeks cold weather is exactly what’s needed to convince more steelhead to leave Lake Michigan and seek refuge up the river system for cover and food.
We have full and half day trips available during Thanksgiving week! Great way to take a break and celebrate Michigans great outdoors with kids home from school or friends and family fishing fall steelhead on the Muskegon river!
