Here’s Kurt pictured with some outstanding steelhead. I’ve come to know Kurt over the past couple years of fishing trips as a very dedicated steelhead angler. I’ve had the pleasure to fish steelhead with him during the spring, fall, and winter. I’ve got nothing but respect for Kurt as we share the same passion for our steelhead addiction. It was really nice to share with him just how many fish are possible during the peak of the spring steelhead run on the Muskegon as he hooked several steelhead throughout the day. Kurt’s only response after hooking well over double digit numbers of steelhead , “I’m just a one fish kind of guy.” Great job Kurt! Great fish!
Water levels are holding strong around 3700 cfs. Rain in the forecast will bring fresh steelhead up the river system. May looks to offer some outstanding steelhead fishing!
