(Jennifer with an absolute brute of a Muskegon River Steelhead)
Here’s Jennifer pictured top with her Aunt Dawn living the Saturday Spring Steelhead Dream on the Muskegon River. Both ladies did really well for their first time steelhead fishing the Muskegon River with hooking some really nice steelhead and brown trout.

Dawn posing with her absolute crown jewel of the Muskegon river, a chrome hen in excess of 30 inches and 15 lbs on the bogas!
(Here’s Dawn holding a nice steelhead along her niece Jennifer)
Dawn and Jen helping hold Dawns ballistic missile of a male steelhead that jumped 30 feet up stream before Dawn knew she had it hooked! Pleasant steelhead surprise!
Water temps are warming up to the around the 39 degree mark. The next couple weeks mixed with rain and warmer nights are exactly what’s needed to raise those water temps to that magical 42 degree point and kick the steelhead run into full gear!

I had a great day fishing with my niece, Jennifer! Jon was absolutely pro at catching these trophy fish and a great guide with knowledge and skills to land the big ones. Looking forward to doing this again.
Going to schedule again soon!
