Here’s Andrew with his Brother-in-law Henry with what can only be described as a strong day of steelhead fishing on the Muskegon River. From the first cast to the end of the day both Andrew and Henry were into steelhead all day long. Great day of fishing guys! Well done!!
Amazing what a push of snow and water can do to bring more steelhead up the river system as December grows near. What started out the past few days as a struggle to find spotty steelhead locations throughout the river system turned into a day where every single hole we stopped produced fish! And produce fish it did with several bright steelhead brought to the boat and some that didn’t want their picture taken.
For those of you that want to get some steelhead fishing in for the Holidays as kids stop home from school or you just want to get a line wet, give us a call. December offers excellent steelhead fishing as boat traffic slows down and the steelhead start to “gang-up” in the winter lies. 4 to 5 hours of fishing during the warmest part of the day for $275 you can’t go wrong and we have excellent boat heaters to keep you warm. Give it a try, winter steelhead fishing is a great way to shake those winter blues and spend time in the peace and tranquility of the great outdoors of Michigan’s premier Muskegon River.
