Negative -35 wind chill, snow accumulations of an inch per hour for well over 24 hours straight, sustained 35 mph hour winds, opening up to a 45 degree day today, with several fresh chrome steelhead waiting to play! “should’ve seen the ones I lost” was the theme of the day today as some of the steelhead just didn’t want their picture taken.
Water temps are cold holding around 33/34 degrees. Water levels are perfect holding around 1900 cfs.
With this recent Michigan winter blast with heavy snow accumulations is setting the stage for an excellent spring run.
